A quick note about Jaime Reyes’ name, because I keep seeing posts on this, and it annoys me.
“Hai-may,” and “Hai-meh,” and “Hai-mey,” are all correct.
There is no fixed, One True Way to pronounce his name, because it varies by accent and dialect. Spanish, as a language, is somewhat forgiving when it comes to pronunciation of vowels, because different dialects pronounce the same words differently. This is A-OK.
Just, you know. Keep it pretty close. Just don’t go sneaking a “Hai-meeeee” in there, because that’s a bit too far off-track.
ps:
A similar note applies to “Reyes”. “Rey-yes,” “Rey-yehs,” “Rey-yes”, hell even “Rey-yeys” - you will hear all of these variants in real life. Just keep it pretty gosh-darn close, and remember that the Spanish ‘e’ is not ever an “eeeee” sound. Don’t get crazy with it.
Thanks.

Title: Somebody That I (Used To) Know
Rating: G
Pairing/Characters: Wally West, Dick Grayson, hinted BirdFlash
Warning: Two universes, kinda confusing.
Note: Wrote this for the lovely code-koda who hasn’t been feeling too hot lately. Also many thanks to the wonderful Maggie for all her help.
Edit: Also just keep in mind that Wally doesn’t exist in the reboot.
